Thyroid Care
Thyroid care that goes deeper than one TSH.
Exhausted, cold, foggy, losing hair, gaining weight — and told your thyroid is fine. Most physicals check one marker, TSH. It is genuinely possible for that one number to look acceptable while the rest of your thyroid picture, including autoimmune activity, is clearly abnormal.
- $299 assessment, credited in full toward your program
- A full hour with your provider, not fifteen minutes
- Labs drawn in our own office in Springfield
- No insurance billing, no contracts, no surprise bill

In their own words
What an underactive thyroid actually feels like
“I am tired no matter how much I sleep.”
“I am cold when nobody else is.”
“My hair is falling out.”
“I cannot think clearly through the fog.”
“I gained weight without changing anything.”
“My skin is dry and my nails break.”
“I am constipated and bloated.”
“My mood has flattened out.”
Every one of these is measurable. None of them is something you have to live with because someone called it normal.

What we measure
One marker cannot describe a whole gland
TSH is a signal from your brain, not a measurement of thyroid hormone itself. We test the hormones your body is actually making and converting, plus the antibodies that reveal Hashimoto — the most common cause of low thyroid function, and one a TSH-only check routinely misses.
- TSH
- Free T4
- Free T3
- Reverse T3
- TPO antibodies
- Thyroglobulin antibodies
- Vitamin D
- Ferritin
The full panel — including testosterone for women.
Not a single TSH and not an estrogen-only view. Women get testosterone measured too, which most panels never check.
We treat your symptoms even when your labs read “normal.”
Reference ranges are wide and built from a general population. Sitting inside one while feeling terrible is a finding, not a dead end.
How it works
Three steps to a real thyroid answer.
You help build this plan from the first step — you choose how deep the testing goes, you see what came back, and nothing gets treated without you understanding why.

Step 01
Choose your testing depth
You pick the tier that fits your history, so you are not paying for markers you do not need or missing the ones that matter.
Simple, full, or Hashimoto

Step 02
See how your system connects
Thyroid, sex hormones, and insulin are connected. Teresa shows you how yours are interacting instead of handing you a lab printout.
One-hour results review

Step 03
Start treatment, then confirm it
Your dose is set to your labs and your symptoms, then rechecked, so progress is measured rather than assumed.
Rechecked at 90 days
A $50 deposit reserves your visit and applies to the $299 total.

Who you'll actually see
Teresa Mealy, APRN, FNP
There is no rotating staff here. Teresa is the founder and the only clinical provider, which means the person who reads your labs is the same person who builds your thyroid care plan and the same person you see at every follow-up.
“I am only a consultant. YOU are the leader.”
- APRN, FNP — Family Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed in Missouri and Florida
- Medically supervised with a board-certified physician
- Reads every lab panel herself
In their words
Thyroid patients on finally getting an answer
Thyroid problems are among the most commonly missed, and it shows in what patients write afterward. Thyroid patients lead, followed by patients on being heard and tested properly. All quoted exactly.

Nancy Ratterree · Google · December 2019 Everyone in the clinic was so kind and considerate. They went out of the way to make me feel welcome. Teresa spoke to me like I was a human. She explained everything from the moment I sat down. She is very easy to talk to…

Common questions
Thyroid testing questions, answered plainly.
My TSH was normal. Could I still have a thyroid problem?
Yes, and it is common. TSH is a pituitary signal, not a direct measure of thyroid hormone. Free T3, free T4, reverse T3, and thyroid antibodies can all be abnormal while TSH still reads inside the reference range.
Do you test for Hashimoto?
Yes. We run TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies, which is how Hashimoto is identified. It is the most common cause of hypothyroidism and it is routinely missed when only TSH is checked.
Can thyroid problems cause weight gain and fatigue?
They can, and they often overlap with insulin resistance and sex-hormone changes — which is why we test all three together rather than chasing them one at a time.

Often connected to
One system, not separate problems.
These rarely show up alone. Teresa treats them together, in one plan, rather than as separate departments.
