What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Total Health & Wellness, LLC collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.

Your medical records and the health information you share with us as a patient are separately protected under HIPAA and under Missouri and Florida law. Those protections are broader than this policy and they control wherever the two overlap. You receive our full Notice of Privacy Practices when you become a patient.

Information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible, and we do not ask for health details through this website.

• Information you give us directly — your name, phone number, and email address when you book an appointment or call the clinic.
• Appointment and payment information, handled by our scheduling and payment providers rather than stored on this website.
• Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your general location, device type, and the pages you viewed.

Booking and scheduling

Appointment booking is handled by our patient management provider, which operates its own secure, HIPAA-compliant systems. When you book, the information you enter goes to that provider, and their privacy terms apply to it in addition to ours.

We ask you not to send health details by email or through any web form. Email is not a secure channel. Once you are a patient, use the patient portal for anything about your labs, prescriptions, or care.

How we use your information

We use what you give us to schedule and provide care, to reach you about your appointments and results, to answer your questions, and to meet our legal and professional obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not share your health information for advertising purposes.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages people find useful — how many visitors a page gets and roughly where they came from. This is measured in aggregate. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not tied to any health information.

Your browser controls cookies, and you can block or delete them in its settings. The site works without them.

Third parties we rely on

We use a small number of vetted vendors to run the practice: a patient management and scheduling platform, a payment processor, a laboratory partner, and website hosting. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and those handling protected health information do so under a Business Associate Agreement as HIPAA requires.

How long we keep information

Medical records are retained for the period required by Missouri and Florida law and by our professional obligations. Website inquiry information is kept only as long as it is useful for responding to you.

Your rights

You have the right to see and get a copy of your medical record, to ask us to correct it, to know how it has been disclosed, and to request that we communicate with you in a particular way. Call the clinic and we will walk you through it.

If you would like us to stop contacting you, tell us and we will stop.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted clearly rather than made quietly.
