Teresa Mealy, FNP
I am a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, originally pursuing finance until my journey led me to nursing after working in a neurology office in Clearwater, Florida.
Graduating with a Bachelor’s in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia, I began my nursing career at St Joseph’s Hospital, specializing in cardiac care for post-angioplasty, cardiac stent, pacemaker, and post-coronary bypass surgery patients.
Returning to Florida in 1999, I continued in cardiac care at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL.
In 2004, I earned my Master’s Degree in nursing from the University of South Florida and returned to the original neurology office as a Nurse Practitioner, focusing on migraine management. After the birth of my twin boys, I joined the Minute Clinic at select CVS stores.
In Missouri since 2012, my own health challenges prompted a journey into natural remedies and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT).
Experiencing personal transformation with BHRT in 2013, I immersed myself in its study, achieving advanced certification through World Link Medical in 2015 and ongoing education at the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Launching my practice in 2016 specializing in Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, my husband Mark and I, married since 1995, nurture our twin boys in the Springfield, MO area, homeschooling them as a tight-knit family.
